From the Middle School Assistant Principal
It is my great pleasure to be the Assistant Principal of the Middle School this year.
I come to UAS with 33 years of professional experience, out of which 23 years are in teaching in both state and private sectors of education in different countries around the world. Although my home is in Australia, I have been living and teaching in Kuwait for the past six and a half years.
I worked with many dedicated students and committed parents, and made a lot of friends. It helped me to better know and appreciate the Kuwaiti culture and to become a part of the community.
As an Assistant Principal I will be dealing with students’ discipline in the MS on daily basis. The main purpose of my job is to assist our teachers and students to achieve and maintain the best possible teaching and learning environment in and outside the classroom.
As there is nothing more rewarding than knowing that together we can make a positive difference in a young person's life, our staff and I are fully committed to excellence in every aspect of students’ education and development. However, we will not be able to achieve our goals without the support of all Parents and Students. Hence we all look forward to working with each of you very closely during the course of the academic year, your ongoing support, advice, cooperation and goodwill.
I would like to wish all our students an, exciting and rewarding school year, full of optimism, enthusiasm and smile starting from the very first school day. Because every beginning means new hopes and expectations, I wish that everything you hope for will come true and this new school year will be full of successes and great personal achievements.
Parents and Students - please do not hesitate to contact me whenever I could be of help or assistance to you. You will be able to arrange a meeting with me through our secretaries Ms Ghadeer or Ms Heba or contact me on my MS school extension 302. I look forward to meeting you in person.
Thank you
Teresa Janowski, MSc, Dip. Teach
