AP Psychology Students Share their Childhood Memories
Currently in AP Psychology, the students are learning about how children grow up by examining different developmental stages from Jean Piaget, Eric Erickson and Lawrence Kohlberg. Part of growing up is hearing stories about you as a young child (the good, bad and embarrassing). As such, the AP Psychology students invited their parents and older siblings in to share childhood stories and discuss developmental theories. Overall, it was a fun event filled with personal histories, the importance of nurturing children, and advice from parents.
