Admission Procedures

Prospective parents should collect a registration packet from the registrar's office. Once the necessary documentation is complete, an appointment will be made for testing with the Early Childhood Counselor.

Each student who desires admission to the Early Childhood Program at UAS will be given an age-appropriate entrance examination. This interview is primarily an opportunity for the counselor to make sure that the child is developmentally, socially and cognitively prepared for the desired level of entrance.

To be considered eligible for admission students must also meet the following age requirements:

Nursery:
Must be 3 years old by December 30 of the current school year, AND be fully potty-trained.

KG 1:
Must be 4 years old by December 30 of the current school year.

KG 2:
Must be 5 years old by December 30 of the current school year.
