The Universal American School is a private, college-preparatory, N-12 school serving a multinational student body from the diverse populations residing in Kuwait. UAS operates under the supervision of the Department of Private Education, Ministry of Education, Kuwait. The school provides the educational environment for our students to develop the capabilities of mind and character in relationship to themselves and others. UAS is accredited by the European Council of International Schools and by the New England Council of Schools and Colleges. UAS is member of the KSAA (Kuwait Schools Activities Association), and the ISAC (International Schools Activities Conference) organization which gives students competitive opportunities in athletics, Fine Arts, Model United Nations, and other subject specific competitions.

The new UAS school is located in the northwest corner of Hawally, a suburb of Kuwait City. It occupies one square city block and has a floor area of 5000 sq. meters (54,000 sq.feet). The $14 million (U.S.) school has 8 floors in total: two underground,a ground floor, and 5 floors above. It has 3 swimming pools, 3 band rooms, a 400 seat auditorium/theater, a large gymnasium, a smaller sports room for weights, volleyball etc, new computer labs in all four instructional areas, computers in all classrooms and wireless internet access throughout the entire school.
